Heritage Bank has an exciting opportunity to join our organization! We are seeking a Branch Services Officer at our Camano Island, WA branch.The branch services officer is responsible for the overall profitability, operational soundness and goal achievement of assigned branch by meeting operational objectives, directing and executing sales and business development activities, managing employee development and engagement through consistent coaching and performance management in accordance with the Heritage Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a retail branch to ensure that established production goals for deposits, fee income, loan production and other corporate goals are met or exceeded.Ensure accuracy and timely completion of audits, certifications, compliance, and reporting.Organize and direct operational workflow to minimize risk and ensure efficient procedures.Resolve customer questions and/or concerns in a timely manner.Actively lead and train staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of operational policies and procedures.Develop skills of staff through goal-setting and performance management.Lead and manage sales for the branch.Work collaboratively with Retail Management/Human Resources on staffing levels.Represent the Bank in the local community.Monitor supplies and security levels ensuring efficient operation.Ensure compliance with all state and federal banking laws and regulations.Qualifications:
4+ years recent experience in retail banking branch operations, sales and service, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.Strong leadership and managerial skills required.Ability to develop and manage income and expense budgets.Advanced knowledge of retail job functions and banking products.Consistent sales and business development skills.Strong analytical reasoning and time management skills.Unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive information.Proficient PC experience using MS Office products.Valid driver license and reliable transportation required.Working Environment/Conditions:
Climate controlled office environment. Work involves being able to concentrate under sometimes distracting conditions.Physical Demands/Effort:
Ability to operate a computer and perform tasks requiring dexterity of hands. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.Comments:
