General Summary of PositionResponsible for aligning the organization's human resource strategy across all service areas in order to manage, develop and retain top talent and achieve current and future business objectives. The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to team members and managers on a variety of human resources topics. This individual will act as a champion and change agent for HR initiatives. This role assesses, anticipates and communicates needs proactively within the HR department and seeks to develop integrated solutions. Must establish strong partnerships to deliver value-added service to management and team members. This role must also maintain an effective level of business literacy about the network's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides advice and counsel to managers and team members to resolve employee related questions or issues.Develops recommendations to management to enhance employee engagement and organization effectiveness.Possesses solid understanding of employment law and ability to provide HR generalist support to managers on effective use of HR related systems as well as performance management issues ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws.Guides internal customers through key processes related to compensation, benefits, performance management and organization development programs.Understands and incorporates organizational values and objectives and employee needs to achieve optimum performance.In collaboration with senior leaders, provides advice, assistance, and follow up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.Coordinates and executes the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.Executes special projects or other related responsibilities based on the needs of the organization.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning.Maintains human resource information system records, files and metrics as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
Experience3-4 years working in a full-service human resources department resolving complex employee relations issues required.3-4 years of experience serving as the front-line strategic business partner to one large or multiple smaller business units required.
Licenses and CertificationsSHRM-CP preferred.SHRM-SCP preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of all human resource disciplines, including compensation and benefit practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.Demonstrated success resolving conflict with competing priorities, interests and opinions.Must be self-motivated, collaborative, resilient and willing to continually drive process improvements.Strong results orientation with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.Exceptional organizational, analytical and attention to detail skills. High degree of versatility required.Must possess excellent relationship building, interpersonal, employee relations, documentation, presentation and communication skills.Demonstrated commitment to data integrity and attention to detail.Exceptional customer service focused with demonstrated teamwork behaviors and skills.Proficient with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
This position has a hiring range of $70,428 - $131,310.
