What you'll do

This role will lead the global Go To Market (GTM) Enablement team. The GTM Enablement team's mission is to equip every Docusign Field employee to do the best work of their careers. We ensure that every member of the Field team has the skills, knowledge, process expertise and content to enhance every prospect and customer interaction in the most productive way possible. Enabling the Field to deliver a world-class buyer and seller experience that drives growth, adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction at scale is at the heart of what the Enablement team does.

In this role, your team will work with our Sales, Customer Success and xDR leaderships and teams, to ensure they are equipped with the content and skills to manage their territory, account planning and deal execution. You are passionate about sales, sales methodologies, and processes, and thrive on helping others succeed. You will lead a team who deeply understands the core Sales, Customer Success, and xDR competencies and determine how these are woven into everything that we do. You'll have an opportunity to combine a passion for teaching and technology, to drive learning, and help our field achieve desired business outcomes.

Successful candidates will have an extensive Enablement leadership experience in a SAAS business, significant experience leading through others, conceiving new and novel strategies, and making significant contributions to cross-functional strategies. You will have considerable breadth and depth of knowledge in Enablement, our business, industry, and cross-functional groups involved in our path to market. You will have excellent communication skills and proven technology and business experience. The successful candidate is an experienced senior executive who can partner closely at senior levels of the organization.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the GVP, Strategy & Operations.

Responsibility Lead design, implementation, and delivery of transformational Enablement strategies to accelerate the capabilities of our global Field organization to effectively partner with our customers to create a vision and deliver key business outcomes Identify and bring key strategic issues and opportunities forward in a clear and structured way Own the short and long-term strategy, roadmap, budgets, resource plans, goals and objectives for the overall function Contribute to the definition of corporate level growth strategies as a senior leader in Docusign and translate Docusign's strategy into a clear and compelling vision and strategic direction for the Enablement function Set ambitious and relevant key performance indicators and ensure goals and objectives are consistently met Use data, measurement models and diagnostic tools to identify performance indicators, key areas of opportunity and training needs Drive continuous process improvement via root causes analysis; partner with upstream and downstream enablement process owners to identify areas for improving quality and user experience Provide expertise in facilitating organizational, business and process change throughout the training process by applying appropriate change management tools and techniques Apply innovation and design thinking techniques to continually challenge and improve the efficiency, scale, and resilience of our training solutions Collaborate closely with peers and employees on the global enablement team to improve the impact of global sales skills programs in region by ensuring they are relevant and by driving adoption in region Design and develop leadership learning portfolio roadmaps and programs in partnership with key stakeholders Develop, design, and monitor operational cadence, tools, tasks and programs Deliver post-program sales and sales leadership coaching to drive ongoing application of learning and support organizational up-skilling and transformation Build and grow strong partnerships with the product subject matter experts across Product and Marketing orgs based on shared commitment to achieving business results Develop an in-depth understanding of Field needs through collaboration with regional leaders and individual contributors across the different segments and roles (ie: Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Renewal Managers, xDR, CSMs) Engage with key stakeholders to help drive continuous learning behavior changes and to deliver iterative enablement solutions Lead by example with a focus on team collaboration, opportunities and growth for your employees Grow your team into a metrics driven organization that is anchored to business results and further enable teams to be accountable for learning and development Grow and uplevel your team to be involved in the strategy for GTM enablement

Job Designation

Hybrid:

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. What you bring

Basic 15+ years of progressive GTM enablement leadership experience 10+ years in SaaS and/or Services industry 10+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people leadership skills in Enablement 10+ years of experience with instructional design: assessment, design, and development of programs Experience shaping business requirements and defining learning strategy, design, and operations Experience in building data-driven enablement strategies and plans that directly influence revenue and retention goals Experience leading complex, global teams on large enablement projects with proven ability to influence and communicate effectively Experience with designing self service "how to" and on-demand learning content Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Sales experience or experience in a other go-to-market function Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across the organization Demonstrated experience managing complex sales/GTM problems in a fast growing, dynamic environment while partnering effectively with executive leaders Demonstrated experience in change management and communicating complex ideas in coherent terms to cross function groups in a scaling environment Strong bias for action and intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity and resolve problems Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $224,800.00 - $360,050.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $210,400.00 - $297,175.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $210,400.00 - $317,575.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and

benefits.
