Senior Managing Director, New Business Treaty Production - Reinsurance
Aon is seeking a business development professional to join our Reinsurance Team. This role will focus on producing new business, generating new client opportunities, and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategies designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities. This role can be based in any of the following locations: Chicago, NY City, Boston, Stamford/Southport, Philadelphia, Atlanta, West Palm Beach, Minneapolis, Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco. What the day will look like
Works closely in collaboration with broking teams across solution lines to focus efforts on the development of new business and establishing relationships with clients and prospects that align with business targets. Identifies specific client and prospect needs and develops innovative and cost-effective solutions. Maintains a detailed understanding and knowledge of all available Aon resources and solutions available and matching those to client business requirements. Achieves high client satisfaction by providing exceptional service. Cultivates and promotes a team approach to both internal and external business relationships. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Prior business development/sales experience in the reinsurance industry. Knowledge of insurance company financial statements to determine the best entrance into a company to present Aon in the most optimal position. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the capability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships at the most senior level. Strong market presence within the broking industry. Entrepreneurial attitude with a high level of accountability for profitability and client satisfaction. Ability to drive team(s) to deliver the highest in client service, quality, and results. Known problem-solver who anticipates issues and suggests creative solutions. How we support our colleagues

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $250,000-$350,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual bonus incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
