Patent Prosecution Associate/Of Counsel

The firm seeks a patent prosecution associate with at least 5+ years of biotechnology experience to join the Intellectual Property ("IP") Group in our New York office.Duties include:Preparing and prosecuting patent applications.Performing patent landscape, freedom-to-operate, noninfringement, and invalidity analysis.Conducting IP due diligence.Mentoring junior patent agents.Qualifications:Strong academic credentials.Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.An advanced degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, or pharmacology.Admission to the Patent Bar.Candidates must have strong interpersonal, communication, research, analysis, and writing skills, as well as a track record of academic and professional excellence.They should be prepared to assume significant responsibility in the management of their matters and to take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits in a collegial working environment that offers training and mentorship.Expected Patent Prosecution Attorney salary:

$345,000 to $415,000 depending on experience.
