Job Purpose:Our Senior Architect will contextualize the business strategy and design and build end-to-end solutions across the Veritiv enterprise. This role will contribute to product design and delivery in the Technology Solutions team and perform systems management and integration functions.Job Responsibilities:Help transform software delivery within VeritivProactively seek out new enhancements and provide demonstrations/adaptive toolingDemonstrate leadership in owning the development and delivery of adaptive solutionsAnalyze technology industry and business and determine their potential applicability to VeritivContribute to and validate project scoping, general design and business case. Ensure business case follow up (value realization.)Ensure handover to project teamsMaintain architecture referential (business process, application, data) regarding various solutionsCollect and prioritize business demands from Business Partners and Support functionsDevelop, in partnership with other IT leaders, the technology strategy for Veritiv systems that are centered on standard and sustainable solutionsAdditional Responsibilities & Qualifications:Contribute to deliver strategy for Sales and Marketing to position Veritiv as a digital business and redefine customer experienceLeverage new technologies to drive innovationDesign and support business applications aligning to Veritiv Architecture Methods, Work Packages and Delivery ProcessChallenge and redirect architectural decisions that do not support Veritiv's desired architectures or are not aligned with general and domain architecture principlesCollaborate with stakeholders to develop the case for strategic investments necessary to support architectural decisionsCoordinate with other team members and outside vendors in solution design and deliveryFocus on streamlining of IT solutions to support business process and provide value add suggestions to improve processesExperience with Digital solutions like eCommerce, Content Management Systems, DAM, Search, Punchout, and SSO (Single Sign-On)Experience with Sales and Marketing solutions like CRM, Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platform, and PricingExperience with ETL processes, Data Transformation, Data Validation, and API SolutionsKnowledge of ERP, payment, merchandising, supply chain, and order management solutionsExperience with Hybris or SAP Commerce Cloud is a plusWork Experience:10-15 years of related job experience.Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.Ability to work quickly and efficiently.Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:Bachelor's DegreeMaster's Degree PreferredWhat We Offer:Engaging and inclusive culture with employee lead Employee Resource Groups, Veritiv Cultural Alliance, recognition platform, etc.Extensive training opportunities, professional development programs, career pathing, and mentorship opportunities.Collaborative atmosphere with our customers and suppliers to create healthier, safer and more sustainable communities through our responsible operations and innovative solutions.Healthcare benefits and 401k with match start date of hire, paid time off and parental bonding time, tuition reimbursement, annual Profit-Sharing Program and much more!For more information, visit
