We’re looking for a motivated software engineer to develop cutting-edge sharing user experiences for visionOS and iOS! We need someone who is comfortable working in an exciting environment with rapidly changing priorities, and someone creative and inspired to invent new ways to help build better products. In this role, you’ll split your time evenly between UI development and framework development.Our team works on super important user interfaces on iOS that enable sharing. If you’ve ever used AirDrop, the system Share Sheet UI, AutoUnlock, WiFi Password Sharing, Handoff, or set up a HomePod/AirPods/a new iPhone, you’ve used our technology! We work mostly in Swift with some Objective-C and we work closely with a ton of other teams at Apple, including Bluetooth, WiFi, the Human Interface design team, HomePod team, Apple TV team, and many more! Our currently shipping features are a big part of the iOS user experience and we have a lot of upcoming opportunities to shape and influence new features in the pipeline.Description

This team’s products are deeply important to Apple users and our success depends on partnership, technical leadership, and diverse experiences.Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or equivalentStrong software development and design skills.Experience working on user interfaces and adopting UI frameworks.Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Self-directed and can solve problems independently.Strong object-oriented programming skills in at least one language like Objective-C, C++, Java, or Swift.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
