Position involves leading multi-disciplined teams in the design and implementation of the cyber security system architecture.Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplined teams in the design and implementation of the cyber security system architecture.Produce cyber security architectural artifacts. Provide architectural analysis of cyber security features and existing systems related to future needs and trends.Review and provide input to system requirements based on cyber security posture.Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs.Support the Engineering Review Board by evaluating artifacts for architectural compliance.Provide broad-based experience in the systems engineering lifecycle and apply the experience to specific cyber security initiatives relating to architectural design and development.Resolve architecture implementation issues during integration and testing.Advise and assist team members in deploying and configuring collection services and tools.Work with team members to move data to the appropriate data stores.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience ORMaster’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience OR10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.)Experience with System Engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.)Experience with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)CompTIA Security+ or comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification required prior to hire.Active TS/SCI clearance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting.Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor.Previous customer service experience strongly desired.Good problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.How you’ll grow
