Senior Front End Developer
position at Bright Horizons is the position for you! The
Senior Front End Developer
will lead in the design, development and delivery of all front end development projects as well as participate in all phases of delivery including business requirement analysis, UI/UX design, and front end architecture.This Senior Front End Developer role will be considered for Hybrid (a few days a week in our Headquarters office in Newton, MA) or fully Remote.What you will be doing:Be part of a fast paced, highly technical development team responsible for developing and delivering SaaS solutions to HR organizationsLead front end development projects and ensure successful project deliveryWork closely with business stakeholders and development teams to design and create new user experiencesDesign, develop, and deliver web applicationsParticipate in all phases of delivery including business requirement analysis, UI/UX design, front end architecture, development, test, deployment, and supportReview code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).Lead meetings pertaining to front end concepts/demoing front end work/front architectureMentor and guide other software engineers within the teamTroubleshoot complex front end issues during the project and provide solutions to solve themProvide support to production; diagnose and quickly resolve production issuesResearch and champion new technologies and approaches. Learn and prototype. Make recommendations based on upcoming product and project roadmapsWhat we hope you will bring to the role:Bachelor or MS degrees in Computer Science or EngineeringMinimum 7+ years of front end design and development experienceExperience with large-scale website architectureProficient with Angular Typescript framework and RXJS(Angular 13+), CLI and state managementProficient writing unit tests in Karma frameworkProficient with HTML5, SCSS(Bootstrap 3 and 4, SASS), and JavaScript(ES5)Some experience with AngularJSComfortable reviewing code(suggesting best practices)Proficient with mobile first and responsive web designProficient with WCAG to support ADA compliance.Knowledge of CI/CDProficient with using web services.Agile methodologies experience (e.g. Scrum) a strong plusExcellent understanding of UX and engineering best practices and software designExcellent written/documentation and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a collaborative team environmentWilling to take on projects and challenges and stays engaged until successful deliveryAbility to exercise sound judgment and to work effectively given general guidance and directionAt this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.The range of compensation listed here or that may be discussed in the interview process is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
