Systems Analyst , someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will review, analyze, and modify programming systems including configuration, testing, debugging, and documenting applications. You will also consult with customers to identify current operation procedures and to clarify program objectives. Additional responsibilities include workflow administration, data management and performing minor modifications to the application.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesTranslates users’ needs into detail requirement specificationsIdentifies system or application needsAnalysis of current business practices, user needs and workflow processesDocument the current as is & to be business processesPerform vendor analysis and make recommendationsInvestigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluationsSupports the system installation through the implementation cyclePerforms configuration analysis for system design associated with medium-sized projects of average complexityAnalyzes system problems and modificationsCoordinates implementation and upgrades of complex systemsSkills & RequirementsRequired H.S. Diploma or GEDPreferred bachelor's degreeRequired at least 7 years' experience in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or nursingPreferred hospital information systems experienceBachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience.
