ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a
Hybrid Cloud Systems Architect
who will have the flexibility to work remote most of the time. This person will need to work on site at times for SIPR work if needed. Two locations that most on-site work is done are Kansas City or Quantico. Will consider someone close to a marine base. Will need to have access to a USMC Facility for computer access for initial setup and occasionally after initial setup.
We are seeking a Cloud Systems Integrator to:
Support US Marine Corps (USMC) enterprise-level hybrid cloud data center engineering, implementation, operations, and cybersecurity.
Enable USMC worldwide customers to host mission-critical applications in multi-cloud environments to support warfighter requirements.
What you will do:
Support the USMC Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Hosting environment providing operations in on-prem, AWS, Azure, VMWare Cloud on AWS, and other cloud environments.
Work with Operations, Disaster Recovery, and Cloud Systems Architect in documenting architecture, planning future evolutions, designing, and planning for implementations, and executing day-to-day cloud operations.
Develop cloud governance, process, and operations guidelines to support integration of Azure and AWS capabilities into the HCS environment.
Provide support to cybersecurity operations teams in developing and maintaining accreditation packages under the USMC implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and support vulnerability management activities such as development of Plans of Action and Milestones.
Engage with USMC enterprise-hosted applications to assist in their migration and operation in the HCS-developed and operated multi-cloud environment.
Support integration of new technologies via Agile, Project Management, and ITIL frameworks to enable seamless, proactive operations and sustainment of the HCS environment.
On-site work required for classified work when needed.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D; HS + 16 years experience.
Active/Current DoD SECRET Clearance.
US Citizenship required.
Must possess an active IAT II Certification.
Azure or AWS practitioner certification or comparable demonstrated experience.
Experience supporting datacenter operations on-prem and in cloud environments including documenting architecture, data flows, ports and protocols, operating procedures including skilled use of Visio.
Experience with fully virtualized datacenter operations using VMWare's NSX-T platform (or similar SDDC).
Experience with Azure or Amazon access and operations frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and experience supporting application developers integrating their systems into a cloud-hosted environment.
Significant experience implementing DOD and RMF-required security configurations such as STIGs and RMF inheritance.
Experience implementing systems using FEDRAMP/DOD cloud approved accreditation and integrating service and system requirements.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment and collaborate across multiple time zones and work locations.

Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
