Description
Passionate about food and/or innovative shopping experiences? Help us revolutionize the
way customers shop for groceries and transform Amazon into a grocery shopping
destination. We are hiring for a Principal Product Manager to help lead the product vision,
strategy, and roadmap for Amazon’s fast-growing online Grocery business. This role will lead
the strategic charter and corresponding customer experience for our repeat customers. This
roles’ scope spans entire customer lifecycle, including graduating first-time trialists into a
settled state as well as making it easier for our settled customers to complete routine
shopping tasks and establish grocery shopping routines through Amazon. We're looking for
visionary, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented candidates with excellent communication
skills, executive presence, and technical and non-technical problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will work directly with L8+ leaders across the organization to establish new
mental models, align on the product strategy and roadmap for the repeat customer
experience, and influence the broader Grocery strategy and roadmap. You will guide the end-
to-end product development process; working with business partners to define
problems/opportunities, partnering with UX and research teams to define customer
requirements, overseeing development across tech teams both within and outside the
Grocery team, defining experimentation design, and owning data-driven launch decisions.
You will work very closely with senior business, product, design, research, finance, and
engineering stakeholders. You will navigate complex tradeoffs between multiple
stakeholders across organizations and be responsible for high-judgement decisions. A
successful candidate is expected to be a strategic leader with strong product acumen that has
a strong technical foundation. They will possess strong verbal and written communication
skills, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

A day in the life
As a Principal Product Manager in Amazon’s quickly-evolving Grocery business, there may not be a typical day. One day you may be presenting to VP/SVP leaders. The next day writing a PRFAQ/BRD.
