Responsibilities
The Infection Prevention Program Manager holds a critical position in our healthcare organization and is responsible for directing and overseeing the infection prevention quality program with a designated facility(ies). Reporting to the Director of Infection Prevention and Control, this role is dedicated to safeguarding the health and safety of staff, patients, and the environment of care by meticulously managing infection prevention and control initiatives. The Infection Prevention Program Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with rigorous infection prevention standards and practices, thereby reducing the risk of healthcare-associated infections, and promoting a safe healthcare environment.The Infection Prevention Program Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing infection prevention practices within the designated facility(ies), contributing to the organization's commitment to providing a safe and high-quality healthcare environment.
Qualifications
Education:Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field (required).Experience:A minimum of 3 years of experience in infection prevention or a related field.Experience in program management and leadership within a healthcare setting (preferredSkills:Thorough understanding of infection prevention principles and practices.Strong leadership and managerial skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Proficient in relevant software and data analysis tools.LEGACY’S VALUES IN ACTIONFollows guidelines set forth in Legacy’s Values in Action.Equal opportunity employer/vet/disabled.
