We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time, 1st Shift Maintenance Technician with industrial electrical experience to join our team at our Erie, PA location. The position offers an hourly rate of $18-$23 (BOE) and the benefits shown below. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesPerform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility's equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine serviceBuild and wire control panels to print, including layout and physically mounting devices to back panels, wiring per print and testing the panel to ensure that it is built according to plan (Point to Point)Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilitiesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Provide and maintain a filing system for instruction/repair manuals and for historic record of maintenanceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all machines, vehicles, and cranesInstruct operators on their preventive maintenance requirementsMaintain a cost effective parts inventory for systematic and secure storage and retrievalRepair breakdowns on a schedule that is approved by the Plant ManagerMaintain building and groundsMake recommendations for selection of new equipment and installs, coordinating with outside contractors when necessaryRequirements:

Two or more years of related experience in industrial maintenanceIndustrial electricity experience, preferred PLC knowledgeHydraulic troubleshooting experienceBuilding and grounds maintenance experienceGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environmentBasic math skills

Compensation details:

18-23 Hourly Wage
