Production Inspector
In this job you will inspect component parts and completed product for conformance to production controls and ISO standards.
As a Production Inspector you will:Perform final inspection tasks on all switches and part orders being shippedTrain production personnel in effective methods to control processesPrepare reports for all findingsPosition has the authority to "shut down" non-conforming processes after notifying SupervisorPrepare and enter NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)Write Customer Improvement Initiative (CII) for repetitive problemsReport violations of ISO standard to the Cell Leader / ManagerResponsible (along with team members from product engineering, manufacturing engineering and production) for the creation/implementation of process control charts for all critical processes Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsConserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsContribute to team effort by training others in performance of inspection tasks as neededInspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operationDocument actions by completing production and quality formsWe are looking for someone who:
Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill developmentIdeally has 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environmentHas an ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, bills of materials, wiring and ladder diagrams desirableMust have basic computer skills in MS Word and Excel Experience using an ERP system desirableHas an ability to utilize measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, "Fluke" multimeterThe physical demands of the job are:
Work is classified as Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept of Labor's Dictionary of Occupational TitlesFrequencies - Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%)Lifting Demands:
Lift up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis floor to waist with assistanceLift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis floor to waistCarry up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis up to 25 feetPush/Pull up to 40 pounds on a frequent basisPush/Pull more than 40 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance

What we offer you:
Pay Range is typically between $20 - $23 per hour plus shift differential
