Housekeeper/Nanny

Job Title: Full-Time Housekeeper/Nanny Location: Tribeca, New York City Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm; 1 month international travel during the summer to Europe Compensation: $35/hour + DOE; Health insurance stipend, Metrocard Position Summary: A busy family in Tribeca is seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper/Nanny for full cleaning and maintenance of their 6,000 sq. ft. townhome. This role requires detailed care, especially with laundry and fine fabrics, as well as a proactive approach to keeping the household organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is physically fit to manage multiple flights of stairs in the 3-story home, fluent in English, and comfortable with technology for household apps and travel logistics. Will need to take over afternoon Nanny duties if the family's Nanny isn't available such as pick up from school bus in front of the house, or if needed pick up from school nearby. Personality Traits: Organized, reliable, trustworthy, good sense of humor, self-starter, friendly, positive attitude, neat and polished Responsibilities: Morning Routine: Arrive at 7am to prepare breakfast and pack lunches for two children (ages 11 and 12). Walk 11-year-old daughter to school (15 minutes away) while the 12-year-old son takes the bus from home. Deep Cleaning & Organization: Perform thorough cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and common areas; keep everything organized and tidy. Laundry & Fabric Care: Attend carefully to laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and storage of fine fabrics and special-care garments. Inventory & Deliveries: Track household supplies, manage inventory, and receive deliveries as needed. Dinner Preparation: Set the table for family dinners. Seasonal Travel: Accompany the family to Europe for one month during the summer, assisting with similar household tasks while traveling. Private apartment provided. Technology Use: Use apps and technology to help coordinate household and travel tasks. Qualifications: Prior experience with large household cleaning, including fine fabric care and special laundry requirements Driving skills preferred but not required Physically fit to manage stairs in a 3-story home Fluent in English, with strong communication skills Tech-savvy and comfortable using household and travel apps Current valiud Passport
