Job Summary:
The Marketing Intern assists Marketing Communications Manager and Marketing Communications Specialist to promote the company's products and services to existing and prospective customers through strategic and creative use of content, graphics, branding, events, and other promotional products. This position reports to the Marketing Communications Manager and is located at main office in Huntingburg, IN.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day operations within the Marketing DepartmentCollaborates with Marketing department to fully understand product and communication needs.Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities such as social media, email, direct mail, and web.Proofread communications prior to publication.Presents design ideas and recommendations for various marketing projects or campaigns.Evaluates success of campaigns when completed.Attends company events if they occur during internship period.Event planning for events such as, Knowledge Day, Innovator Summit, Grower Meetings.During the internship period, the intern will be expected to complete a project established between the intern and their supervisor, and to present the completed project to the management team at the completion of the internship period.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
Pursuing a degree in agricultural communications, marketing, journalism, advertising, communications, or related field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize and execute multiple activities simultaneously.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Graphic Design experience not required, but strongly encouraged.Must be able to work efficiently as both an individual and part of a team.Valid driver's licenseSupervisory Responsibilities:

May occasionally lift/move from 15 up to 50 pounds.May occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions: moderate heat and rain.May occasionally be exposed to dust, pollen, and other airborne particles.
