Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position : Critical Care/ICU RN Schedule: Nights. M-F, Every other Weekend 7p-7:30a. 36 hours Duration : 13 Weeks Location : Camden, NJ Cancelation Policy: Candidate can only cancel 1 shift bi-weekly (per pay period) without penalty. Requirements: CRRT and EVD Required IABP and Impella Experience Preferred Required to float to all like units 3 years of critical care acute care Level 1 trauma hospital experience required Orientation : 2 days of orientation in the classroom No on-unit orientation Unit Information: Client has 4 intensive care units: 1- is a 16 bed neuro intensive care unit caring for stroke, post neuro intervention and neurosurgery patients. 2- is a 24 bed Level 1 Trauma Surgical intensive care unit caring for Level 1 Trauma surgical/interventional patients 3- is a 30 bed Cardiovascular surgery (open heart surgery) and medical intensive care unit patients. 4 - is a 13 bed Cardiac Care unit caring for cardiac medical and post cardiac cath patients. All units have a 2 patient to 1 nurse ratio which can increase or decrease depending on acuity and stability of a patient. Agency RNs are in a critical care float pool so can be assigned to any one of these 4 units and may be assigned to intermediate units on other floors in the hospital. Ratios on intermediate level are 1 nurse to 3-4 patients depending on acuity. Agency RN will be successful if they have had experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center. License Verification –All Candidates must have an active NJ License COVID Vaccination-Fully vaccinated with 1 booster required Talent Burst Job ID 24-16846.
