Senior full stack application developer with Java and relational database experience to work in IT at the NJ Department of Education to enhance the Career and Technical Education Data Management System. Extends to June 2025.

Complete Description:

Candidates for this position must be full stack developers with the following minimum experience:

Java (5+ years)Spring, with specific experience in Spring MVC and Hibernate (3+ years)Relational database (4+ years), Oracle a plusJavaScript (2+ years)CSS, preferably Bootstrap

Job duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Design and develop web application components in Java and related web technologiesImplement relational database changesPerform data analysisPerform thorough developer-level testingDeploy softwareSupport and maintain the application after launchConvert business requirements into technical implementationFollow Departmental standards and best practices

Bachelors in computer science or related field is mandatory.

4 year college Degree is required.
