POSITION SUMMARY

The Competition Venue Staff position supports Stratton competition athletes through the creation and maintenance of world-class venues for training and events. There are seasonal part-time and occasional opportunities available. The wage range for this role is $20.00 - $22.00/hr, based on experience and certifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIESPrepare venues as needed for trainingHelp to build, maintain, and tear down all race, competition and event venuesMaintain excellent guest and employee rapport and ensure customer satisfaction remains at the highest level possibleMaintain appropriate asset protection and inventory controlSupervise training venues to ensure safety while athletes are trainingMaintain the highest safety standards and code complianceOther duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:High School Diploma, in progress or completed

Experience:Ski or snowboard at an expert levelPrevious experience working with signage, fencing, and racing gatesKnowledge and understanding of US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA rules and regulationsPrevious experience maintaining venues in accordance with criteria set by US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA, recommendedUS Ski and Snowboard officials credential or higher, recommended (required for timing and race administration roles)

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSUS Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership, recommended.Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid and CDC Heads Up Concussion, required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position will be required to work weekends and holidays.
