Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Early-Career Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. We are looking for someone with a foundation in backend technologies who is eager to apply their skills in a dynamic, AI-focused environment.This engineer will work on backend solutions in collaboration with our AI Platform team, which is a research-engineering focused team oriented around building next generation multi-agent applications.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with researchers and scientists to understand backend requirementsDesign, develop, and implement scalable backend systemsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code to support AI-driven applicationsDevelop RESTful APIs and services for internal and external consumptionOptimize application performance, ensuring speed, security, and reliabilityTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing backend systems as necessaryParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous integration processesContribute to the documentation of backend systems and processesStay up to date with the latest trends in backend development, cloud services, and AI technologies
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience, graduate degree preferredExperience: 1-2 years of professional or internship experience in backend development, with hands-on knowledge of server-side technologiesTechnical Skills:Proficiency in PythonExperience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)Familiarity with RESTful API design and developmentUnderstanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS with some knowledge of Azure)Familiarity working with Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detailAbility to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentEffective communication skills, both written and verbalEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologiesSelf-driven with a growth mindset and ability to manage time effectively
Salary : 90k-110k
