Please do not apply here, apply internally through Workday.If you are NOT a current employee or student, please click "Apply" and complete the application process for external applicants.JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The Department of Campus Recreation is seeking Penn State students to fill the position of Challenge Course Facilitator.This position is responsible for facilitating a wide variety of programming utilizing the challenge course facilities at Stone Valley Recreation Area and portable activities on the University Park Campus. Facilitators will work closely with Lead Facilitators and Outdoor Adventures management to provide an opportunity for a variety of organizations to recognize and reach their potential. This includes promoting self-confidence, positive group dynamics, and continued growth in team-oriented skills. Candidates should be creative, motivating, and engaging leaders who have a desire to work with individuals and groups of all ages, demographics, and backgrounds in an exciting and adventurous environment. Must attend mandatory monthly staff meetings and participate in ongoing staff development workshops and trainings. First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher) certification required.
