Travel to the Warrenville & Chicago offices dependent on business needs (could be 1 day a week to either location)MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH AZUREPosition SummaryAs the IT Manager, you will be at the forefront of overseeing the LSC CoE’s entire IT infrastructure, including but not limited to cloud and on-prem hosting, virtualization tools, telecommunications, network connectivity, end-point management, end-user applications and support, transmission services, and identity management systems. Your role will cover a wide range of responsibilities from leading IT operations through managing change control and governance processes to supporting information security and compliance initiatives. This role demands a versatile leader capable of managing multiple service providers across our IT portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with various teams and organizations within the LSC Portfolio, including application teams and technical teams such as Infrastructure, Networking, and EAI. You will also engage with management from different Business Units within LSC Communications family of businesses.The ideal candidate will be a versatile individual who can manage the strategic plans while driving technical and tactical requirements, adept at managing diverse technologies and capable of driving operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the IT infrastructure across Azure cloud services and on-premises deployments.Manage and optimize virtualization tools, and network connectivity.Manage identity management systems and ensure smooth integration with other LSC platforms, 3rd party, SSO, MFA, and customer systems.Comply with IT governance tasks including change control, policy enforcement, vulnerability remediation, documentation and audit.Support the design and implementation of security measures and compliance checks.Promptly support the Business Application development team in all IT infrastructure related activities.Manage end-user support and maintain high service quality and availability.Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and IT Systems Performance and Availability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Manage contracts and service agreements with IT infrastructure, networks, and IT service providers.Prepare and manage the IT budget and forecasting financial processes, this includes annual reviews and monthly forecasting & accruals.Build strong relationships with CoE and Business Unit leadership to ensure smooth cross-functional initiatives and operations.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years’ experience as an IT manager, preferably in small to medium-sized companies.Comprehensive understanding of Azure cloud environments, virtualization, identity management systems (i.e. Microsoft Active Directory), Web hosting, Transmission services, VDI and network systems.Experience implementing and managing collaboration and cybersecurity tools, especially the Microsoft365 portfolio of products.Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and multiple external vendors.Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to act swiftly in crisis management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Experience working with cross-functional teams and Executive stakeholders.About LSC CommunicationsLSC Communications is a global leader in traditional and digital print, print-related services, office products, and graduation & commemorative products with $2.0B of revenues.
