Central Vermont Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerClinical Role:
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitionerMust have post training experience in psychiatric or substance abuse (willing to consider RN experience)Need is ASAPX-Waiver a plus, not requiredWork schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pmPatient Census: 20-25 patients per dayOutpatient Clinic SettingProvide medication evaluation and management, with ongoing monitoringConduct clinical evaluations and physical health screenings, refer out as neededProvide MAT services; prescribe medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)Order and interpret lab testingDiagnose medical conditions and illnessesPromote total body health through education patients and familiesRotating CallLead role on an interdisciplinary team; work to build a program with decision making and implementing processesEnsure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocolsFoster a culture of high performance and continuous improvementNo visa candidates, unfortunately
