Position Description: Banner Defense is in search of a Network Systems Engineer to serve in the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Mid-Range Missile capability. The Network Systems Engineer is responsible for advising the MRCPO in the design, development, fielding, and modernization of the Battery Operation Center (BOC) as part of the Army Mid-Range Capability. Responsibilities: Support the development, prototyping, modernization, testing, and evaluation of BOC Network Systems software and hardware and support the integration and test events of the Mid-Range Capabilities. Provide systems engineering & integration support for weapons system network. Develop network diagrams to include modernization efforts and network additions for added hardware. Review and define system requirements Review and evaluate system technical specifications, designs, analyses, test plans/procedures, and technical data packages Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate preliminary concept exploration and candidate system design Develop and present briefings, analysis, and reports to industry, internal/external government organizations, and senior/executive leadership within DoD and the Federal Government. Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering 10 years of experience supporting engineering for weapon systems Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysis Successful missile system fire direction and power systems development experience Demonstrated experience with System Requirements Design Reviews Experience in kill-chain management or equivalent communications management architectures. Experience in in-the-loop encryption/decryption involving engagement commands.
