As a Senior Manager, Corporate Security Headquarters you take passion in driving operational security excellence across any organization you are a part of.The Impact You Will Have:

You will be the guardian of the executive protection for our Corporate Headquarters by safeguarding our top leaders as they travel, make public appearances, and throughout their daily routines as well as mitigate potential threats and foster peace of mind for leaders who drive our company’s success.What you will do:

Management of Executive Protection program, to include coordinating with third party security resources for Executive Protection, managing the budget and scheduling of servicesLiaise and engage directly with QTS HQ Executives to include the CEO and those from the Finance, Legal, People Services, and other departmentsCreate reports and prepare executive level presentations on the status of physical security operationsOversee the creation of reports by site for internal and external auditsPlan, organize and strategize organizational goals cooperatively with security leadershipCollaborate with QTS Intelligence functions (internal and external resources) to develop briefing packets for QTS Executive travel, especially with regards to international travel requirementsProvide quarterly threat briefings for Executive team which include trends, guidance, and best practicesInvestigate accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies, insider threats, and provide appropriate and timely notifications to required partiesAssume 24/7/365 availability to respond appropriately to all requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional mannerEnsure all security systems are fully functional to include Access Control, Visitor Management, Service Now, CCTV, etc.Have knowledge and familiarization with all emergency response plans and evacuation procedures, which includes conducting fire evacuation drills and Active Shooter drillsEnsure that all security equipment is kept in excellent working condition through regular inspection and by following QTS preventative maintenance programsEnsure the Security Department is following all proper protocols, including monitoring the cameras, fire alarms, physical patrolling, recognition of items for proper written documentation of all security-related incidents, dispatching, and completing various logs/files on a daily basis.Interface with and assist in mobilizing vendors involved in system repairs for current sites and new security for constructionDevelop and maintain working relationships with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement as well as Fire and EMSPerform duties as needed to ensure efficient operations and guest service standards are metServe as a customer advocate by identifying security-related opportunities and crafting innovative solutions that maintain uncompromising security standardsWhat You Need to Be Successful:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experienceTen or more years managing security operations and personnelFive or more years of experience leading and managing direct reportsFive or more years Project Management experienceFive of more years of experience in security patrolling and reportingFive of more years of experience in working with security vendors and contractorsMust be able to travel up to 50%Lifting requirements may range from 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis with heavier weights done in conjunction with other individuals or lifting aidsAbility to engage and establish relationships with Federal, State, Local, and international Law Enforcement agencies, as well as Fire and EMSWhat Would Be Great to Have:

Professional Certification (ex. CPP, PSP, CSSM)Three of more years of experience in strategic planning and management.Three of more years of experience in access control and video surveillance software applications (ex. ProWatch and Genetec)Four or more years of experience working in a facility and observing security gaps in physical barriers, security officer procedure, policies, surveillance equipment, and alarm points.Three or more years of experience investigating accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies.Three or more years of experience teaching others the proper security processes and methods.Three or more years of experience creating and implementing emergency planning programs and physical security countermeasuresThe Perks (and these are just a few):
