Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
requires the services of
1 Software Developer 2 , hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of
Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development
and the specifications outlined in this document.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department . Potential Vendors (and their Candidates) must submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law.
The worker will be responsible for developing, integrating, and testing REST applications using Java Spring, Core, Hibernate, and Microservices, as well as web applications in ReactJS and Node.js frameworks. The functionalities could be running in a serverless state or on web servers hosted in a cloud environment. They may also assist in maintaining and supporting existing applications using Java technologies.
Under the guidance of technical architects, this worker may serve as a technical lead in one or more areas and help integrate and verify code built by internal and external teams. This person should have good communication and interpersonal skills and may assist in researching, architecting, designing, prototyping, troubleshooting, mentoring, directing, load testing, code quality checking, application security conformation, and other technical areas.
