Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Data Analysis and Transformation

Collect and document business and functional requirementsCollect, clean, and process raw data from various sourcesTransform data into a suitable format for analysisCollaborate with data engineers to understand data sources and structuresEnsure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses

Statistical Analysis and Reporting

Perform statistical analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and insightsDevelop and maintain analytical models to support business decisionsCreate detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholdersUse data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning

Data Visualization and Communication

Develop data visualizations to effectively communicate insightsUnderstand stakeholder needs and tailor visualizations to meet those needsUse storytelling techniques to convey insights and recommendations clearly and compellinglyDevelop documentation and/or user guides on how data products function and help train end users

Tool and Technology Management

Utilize analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python, or SQL for data analysisStay updated on the latest tools and technologies in data analysisRecommend and implement new tools and technologies as neededProvide training and support to end-users on analytical tools and best practices

Performance Metrics and Reporting

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data analysis projectsUse data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve the analytical user experiencePresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organizationActively engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and challengesStay current on industry trends and technological advancements to provide innovative solutions

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related roleProven experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasetsStrong understanding of analytical tools and best practicesProficiency in data analysis and statistical techniquesExcellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projectsStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Certifications Include

Certified Data Visualization Professional (CDVP)Certified Data Analyst (CDA)Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
