The Role

We’re looking for an experienced

DevOps Engineer

to build, test and maintain infrastructure and tools so that software can be developed and released. This person will help us establish mature, robust processes around deployments, metrics, and alerts, both by helping us leverage modern solutions, and by setting the example for the rest of the team to follow.What You Have

5+ years of experience, with at least two of them in a DevOps or SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) role

Experience with the Kubernetes suite: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm

Experience with CircleCI or similar CI/CD platforms

Experience with GCP or similar cloud providers

(bonus) Experience with some of the other technologies we use: PagerDuty, Datadog, Postgres

What You'll Be Doing

Helping us improve an already robust, modern CI/CD pipeline, with automated rollback, canary deployments, etc

Setting standards in terms of defining metrics, SLIs/SLOs, as well as alert responses, from initial page to post-mortem

Leveraging Kubernetes to its full potential, using modern tooling like Helm

Leading in defining best practices, and imparting them on the team via direct instruction and thorough documentation

Building out tooling/libraries to help improve operational reliability and observability

This is a full-time role which will operate out of Brigit’s New York office, with the option to work remotely for 3 days a week.The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.Our Benefits & TeamMedical, dental, and vision insurance
