Key Responsibilities:Lead problem and solution discovery, testing and experimenting in collaboration with other roles to understand real users’ motivations, goals, and pain points and to reduce key value, viability, usability, and feasibility risksPartner with business and engineering stakeholders on the strategy and implementation of key initiatives that require modifications to the video services middleware, while also leading discovery and delivery of architectural runway initiatives to achieve a world-class middleware serviceLead and collaborate closely with your cross-functional product team, consistently articulating product strategy, sharing learnings both good and bad, making difficult decisions and being accountable for them, prioritizing effectively, representing the team throughout organization, and nurturing strong collaborative relationships within the teamOwn the execution and excellence of your product(s) - be scrappy, solve problems, and take an entrepreneurial approach to deliver against business outcomes and create a delightful viewer experienceAssess competing or similar products in the fast-changing media, television, and digital video landscapeBecome an acknowledged expert in and evangelist of the current state, future goals, functionality, and roadmap of your part of the user journeyContribute a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business; constraints from marketing, sales, support, finance, legal, and privacy are typical examplesFill the role of product owner on your team, ensuring the product backlog is transparent, visible, understood, and in priority orderDefine, monitor, and analyze product and business metrics, and feed learnings back into the product development process
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:5+ years of Product Management experienceExperience with pay tv, streaming, or satellite video services a plusExperience with Jira, AirTable, Adobe Suite, Conviva Analytics a plusBachelor's DegreeSkills and Qualifications:A passion for collaborating, iterating, and testing with Product Management and Engineering peers to discover solutions that exceed user expectations and drive business resultsObsession with customers and experience personally conducting user research, testing, and optimizationExperience creating new or improved product features that drive business outcomesHigh comfort level in analytics and generating customer insights from data trendsAbility to think strategically and execute effectively, with attention to detailExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, and digital) across all functions and levels of the organization, as well as externally with partnersKeen interest in the digital video, streaming, and TV programming industriesExcellent interpersonal skills, an ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver on our goals
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $147,200.00/YearBenefits
