Senior Infrastructure Architect at Highmark Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Company : enGen Job Description : JOB SUMMARY This job takes a lead role in the planning, design and architecture development for the IT infrastructure team, with services and capabilities that span the organization. This individual will help create a blueprint of the architected network of systems and connected technological components within the company. Act as a key stakeholder in infrastructure roadmap planning and execution. Lead in the design of IT architecture that fulfills team and business objectives. Design high-level system architectures including their components, their relationships, principles, and the guidelines governing the coordination and integration of sub-system architectures. Ensures integrity of more complex architectures by connecting various views of stakeholders, reconciling conflicting concerns, and showing the tradeoffs made in so doing. Act as a solution architect for highly visible and complex projects. Oversee an IT landscape that covers data, network, hardware, software, and data center facilities. Evaluate current state technology requirements and assess new and upcoming technologies with regard to our organizational strategy. Collaborate with IT stakeholders to partner and assess the health of the IT estate. Leverages business and technology knowledge to enable and/or alter business processes, practices, organizations and systems. Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and best in class industry business trends and practices. Can translate strategy and technology decisions into an effective business case. May take on the role of Project Lead for special assignments. May mentor less experienced team members. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES + Take a lead role to provide strategic consultation to business customers in defining or designing more complex business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing enabling technologies based on customer capability requirements. Facilitate development of more complex enterprise business solutions that combine knowledge of particular business processes and issues, general technological options, and process facilitation techniques.
