If you think the open position, you see, is right for you, we encourage you to apply!Our people make all the difference in our success.Position Summary:The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for managing and driving growth within the PowerGlide™ franchise, and a new product launch. This Senior Marketing Manager, will also have responsibility to:Support the overall business objectivesDeveloping and executing against annual / strategic marketing planCollaborating closely with the sales force to drive growthManaging product financial performance, aligning business expectations to annual strategic initiativesCollaborating with Supply Chain and Operations to appropriately forecast incoming demandCollaborating with other marketing partners to develop integrated marketing plans/ campaignsEffectively partnering and collaborating with Global marketing partners and other cross functions (i.e. R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs etc..) to ensure development and execution of comprehensive marketing and product strategy.Demonstrating Strategic Marketing Acumen with proven ability to conduct through market assessment driving to clear strategic recommendations.Other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
An MBA is preferred.7+ years of relevant marketing experience – Preferably in medical device industry, but not necessary.Solid business acumen and knowledge of clinical market environment.Familiarity with vascular access devices and/or advanced placement devices preferredExperience in upstream (new product development) and downstream (demand generation) marketingStrong knowledge of working in a B2B environment; understanding of healthcare industry; exposure to cross-functional processes / requirementsStrategic thinker with demonstrated ability to help formulate and implement marketing and product strategies, convert these into tactical marketing plans, and deliver results.Experienced in Market ShapingDemonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, Customers, advisory boards etcCreative out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.Demonstrated ability to influence across and up the organization to effectively negotiate and persuade others.Excellent presentation and communication skills for a wide variety of audiences.Ability to travel ~10 - 20% of the time for customer engagementsFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
