Dulles, Virginia.RESPONSIBILITIESFull Stack Development
Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end components of web applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirementsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codePerform unit and integration testing to ensure software qualityTroubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
Kubernetes Platform Engineering
Implement security best practices for Kubernetes environmentsMonitor and optimize pod performance, scalability, and resource utilizationAutomate deployment and scaling of containerized applicationsProvide expertise in troubleshooting Kubernetes-related issues.
Collaboration and Documentation
Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure seamless integrationDocument code and infrastructure changes, processes, and best practicesParticipate in knowledge sharing and mentorship of team membersStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
REQUIREDU.S. CitizenshipMust be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability8+ years of directly relevant software development experience requiredProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and NodeJSStrong knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworksExperience with containerization technologies (Docker) and KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systemsKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus!Demonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one or more of the following: SQL, Oracle, MySQL, JDBCDemonstrated experience and/or familiarity with one or more of the following: Java Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, JavaScript, ReactJsExperience leading multiple software development teams. Experience developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid- to large-scale programsExperience with cloud computing, multimedia storage, knowledge databases and data-mining analyticsAgile development methodology experience requiredExperience with Linux and/or UnixExperience with Jenkins and/or CloudBeesBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
