Business Systems Analyst
to work
remote
with the possibility of working onsite in
Atlanta, GA
at some point in the future. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will work with your client stakeholders as well as on an Agile team with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Developers, QA Analysts, and other team members to facilitate meetings with product owners and other key stakeholders, elicit requirements, document user stories, support testing and test related documentation, iterate, and ultimately deliver quality technical solutions that meet customer expectations. The main tasks of the position include performing detailed requirements gathering and analysis, evaluating and documenting processes and procedures (current state and future state), and conducting and/or performing user acceptance testing. It also includes uncovering and recommending areas for improvement, developing, and implementing solutions, performing ongoing reviews of business processes, and developing optimization strategies.Responsibilities:Schedule and facilitate business analysis meetings with internal and external stakeholders/partners as instructed or directed by the lead.Collect, capture, and manage mission user needs from prioritization through concept development and user story writing to support development and deployment.Facilitate the gathering of business-focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog.Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement.Work with IT, public health, and stakeholders to review, update, and maintain the business process roadmap of the to-be system.Facilitate development of and maintain user reference materials (e.g., standard operating procedures, job aids).Suggest ways to enhance site organization, user interface, and content management processes.Familiarity with client records management processes and assist users.Ability to be a team player that can work in a consulting capacity with clients.Experience supporting the federal government is preferred.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science or related program.3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or requirements analyst role.Previous application development experience preferred.Experience with using requirements management tools (Team Foundation Server, Jira or other).Strong proficiency in MS SharePoint Online, MS Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Microsoft CRM experience preferred.Demonstrated experience in the full software life cycle.Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to provide support to governance related documentation and be proficient at technical writing.Security Requirements:Must be US Citizen or with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.Benefits:Market competitive salary, commensurate with experience and education.Comprehensive benefits package available, including Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and 401K with company match.Growth and promotion opportunities.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Employer
