Cloud and Network Architecture Manager
to oversee the design, planning, and implementation of network infrastructure and architecture for data and voice networks, as well as computing and data storage resources, including both local and cloud-based systems. Additionally, manage the successful operation of IT support for Mitsubishi Motors' internal and external PC/laptop users, ensuring efficient use of company-provided hardware.Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership in planning, configuring, implementing, troubleshooting and tuning servers in a virtualized cloud environment.Manage and set priorities for the design, development, upgrade, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, internet, security, cloud/datacenter, and wireless.Oversee and prioritize Dealer Hotline and IT Helpdesk support operations, while leading initiatives for laptop replacement projects and imaging.Lead the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise routing and switching environments, virtual private networking (VPN), wireless networking, and voice communications infrastructure/systems including Voice Over IP.Implement solutions in support of infrastructure installation, migration, and upgrade projects when needed.Provide technical training, mentoring, and coaching of professional and technical staff on complex matters related to infrastructure design and operations.Conduct research and cost-benefit analysis and makes recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards related to the cloud infrastructure.Provide technical leadership in planning, configuring, installing and maintaining enterprise networks, and convergent technologies in data, video and voice networks.Develop routine evaluations and upgrade cycles for existing software and hardware.Establish cross-training processes and requirements with the goal to have all infrastructure staff capable of effectively troubleshooting and resolving Incidents for all supported technologies.Ensure appropriate disaster recovery plans are in place and are tested at least once per year.Prepare and monitor IT operational budgets that meet prevailing objectives and constraints.Research and evaluate the latest technologies and solutions that would fit into the LAN/WAN infrastructure and business goals.Define and oversee infrastructure improvement projects. Conduct vendor bid process, negotiate contracts, and perform vendor management.Must be able and willing to work additional hours and weekends as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:8+ years experience managing all aspects of an enterprise network, including LAN/WAN systems across multiple network operating systems and infrastructure equipment from various major vendors.5+ years managing a team.Proven expertise in selecting, recommending, and implementing cloud platforms and infrastructure software.Enterprise network certifications and extensive knowledge of network performance, infrastructure and design.Advanced knowledge across a broad range of network infrastructure technologies, including (but not limited to) Active Directory, O365 Cloud Operations, firewalls, LAN/WAN/WLAN, telephony networks, network security, data storage, backup infrastructure, cloud datacenter management, and virtualized infrastructure.Pay Transparency:The base salary for this position ranges between $130,000 to $140,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
