AIG offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network.The Global Account Senior Data Analyst – AIG Warranty Division role is a critical position in the success of AIG’s Global Warranty Services business. The role is responsible for the requirements, building, maintenance, and efficacy of analysis and forecasting. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Globals and will be critical in the overall continuity of financial reporting for internal/external clients along with forecast and analysis for strategic projects, ensuring growth goals are achieved, resulting in driving revenue and profit for AIG and our clients.Responsibilities:Works with Global Accounts and Global Finance to ensure alignment on reporting and forecasting for the Apple program.Responsible for gathering the requirements for the Global Accounts reporting needs, including developing new reports, views, and tracking trends.Establishing good working relationships with the Global Accounts team as well as our counterparts in other departments at AIG (claims, IT, finance, etc.), posturing self as a trusted source of knowledge on process and procedures.Work closely with Global Finance, Global Actuaries, and Product Managers to analyze and optimize current reporting.Interpret and provide analysis of reports and trends.Proficiency in SQL and Excel is crucial for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis to be able to lead requests for new reporting by directing IT and our Business Analysts.Monitor program performance and identify areas for improvement and opportunities to gain efficiency, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans.Build PowerBI reports and dashboards.Maintain metrics and KPIs to track sales, claims frequency, and all matters of forecasting. Identify areas for improvement, and report progress to senior management.Ability to lead internal calls, providing agendas, meeting goals, and tracking all deliverables.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration.Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required. PowerBI or a similar reporting tool is preferred.4+ years of experience in data analytics or other finance roles.Ability to document and present findings and recommendations to senior management.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective improvement plans.Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving growth and profitability, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.A look at our Benefits:We're proud to offer a range of employee benefits and resources that help you protect what matters most - your health care, savings, financial protection, and wellbeing.
