We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer in our Building Engineering Division – Energy Infrastructure team in our Buffalo, NY office.LaBella’s Energy Infrastructure team provides comprehensive energy efficiency and renewable energy consultancy, including feasibility analyses and design. Our engineers are well-versed in all aspects of building and energy systems design relating to a variety of new construction, renovations, and design/build projects for a variety of clientele.The Electrical Engineer will work with our team in a lead role on a variety of decarbonization, electrification, and renewable energy projects to develop projects in feasibility stages all the way through design and construction. A successful candidate will be able to work well in a team, mentor junior engineers, and communicate effectively with clients.Duties

Design building electrical systemsDesign photovoltaic, battery storage systems, and grid interconnectionField investigations to document existing conditionsInteract directly with clients by completing analysis of design options, cost benefit comparisons, and communicating results to assist in decision-making process.Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and utility requirementsMinimum Requirements

2-4 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferredWell-rounded experience in building electrical system and/or distributed energy system designExperience with Revit or AutoCADNew York State Professional Engineer’s license is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSalary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 per yearThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.Body, mind, and wallet—LaBella’s benefits support a holistic approach to your health and wellness, creating the foundation for physical, mental, and financial well-being.
