The Associate Software Engineer will work under the direction of a technical lead and in collaboration with other software engineers to design and develop software application code.Position Requirements
Familiarity with software design concepts and software application lifecycle.Analysis and implementation of use cases and user stories in application code, including relational database modeling.Detection, analysis, and resolution of defects and inconsistencies.Creation and maintenance of unit tests to verify function-level behavior.Contribution to automated tests to verify user-level behavior.Communication, collaboration, and time management skills.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Effective in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.Strong attention to detail.Experience, Skills, And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.Experience in software development (e.g., Java, JavaScript, etc.), with some web UI development preferred.Experience in an ISO/FDA regulated environment as a member of a product development organization (medical device or biotech industry) preferred.BioFire Diagnostics, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
