Job Description Privaira, FAR 135/91 operator based in Boca, FL, is actively searching for a dynamic and seasoned professional with aircraft management program experience to spearhead the expansion of our managed aircraft fleet. The perfect candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years’ worth of hands-on experience within the business aviation domain, having worked with aircraft management firms, aircraft brokers, manufacturers, charter brokers, or a blend thereof.The Director of Fleet Development (DFD) at Privaira will spearhead the companys initiatives in planning, promoting, and selling aircraft management services. This role entails offering strategic direction, technical expertise, leadership, and service assistance to attain these goals. It is imperative that the Director of Fleet Development maintains professionalism and ethical conduct consistently while collaborating as an integral team member. Furthermore, aligning sales and marketing objectives with the companys strategic vision is crucial.Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Fleet Development holds a pivotal position within the organization.If youre a seasoned business aviation expert with a profound grasp of aircraft operational expenses, budgetary management, aircraft charter intricacies, and aircraft specifications and performance metrics, were eager to connect with you!Responsibilities:•Work closely with senior management to champion Privaira’s short- and long-term fleet growth strategies•Position Privaira for growth through balanced-fleet expansion and continuous improvement on vertical integration•Maintain equilibrium between supply and demand, while also considering factors such as market trends, operational efficiency, and financial viability•Carefully assess the needs of the market and the preferences of corporate and charter clients to determine the types and quantities of aircraft to add to Privaira’s fleet•Responsible for the acquisition of aircraft through the company’s Aircraft Management program•Prepare, plan, and conduct aircraft management program presentations to new prospective aircraft owners•Prepare and deliver aircraft management program proforma budgets and proposals to new prospective aircraft owners•Assist the executive team with the preparation of monthly aircraft financial reports and review with respective aircraft owners•Develop, maintain, and improve long-lasting client and aircraft owner relationships and satisfaction scores•Maintain a strong knowledge of company aircraft and services•Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive environment•Participate and be active in local industry organizations•Present a professional image and practice honesty and integrity at all timesCore CompetenciesCollaborationStrives for Positive ResultsService-OrientedGo-getterStrategic ThinkerEducationBachelors in Business Administration or equivalent degree requiredQualifications•5+ years of experience in the Business Aviation industry is required•Must be self-motivated and results-driven.•Excellent verbal and written communications are a must.•Must be able to travel to prospect and client meetings.•Ability to establish strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.CompensationBase Salary plus commission, unlimited upside potentialRelocation assistanceJob Type•Full-time, after hours as requiredBenefits•401(k) with matching program•Flexible spending account•Health and Dental insurance•Life & Vision insurance Experience:•5 years plus Business Aviation experience, strong industry relationships and work ethic a mustAbility to commute/relocate:•Boca Raton, FL 33431: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
