Senior Analyst
to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary:The Senior Analyst at VuMedi will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will be responsible for conducting complex data analyses, creating reports, and providing insights to support business operations, product development, and strategic initiatives. The Senior Analyst will work closely with various teams, including product, marketing, and finance, to ensure that data informs all aspects of decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (internal platforms, web analytics, financial data) to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and produce regular and ad-hoc reports.
Strategic Insights:
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support business growth, product enhancements, and user engagement strategies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and operations, to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights.
Dashboards & Visualization:
Build and maintain dashboards and data visualization tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the success of various initiatives.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements in data collection, processing, and analysis.
Market Research:
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform business strategy and development.
Mentorship & Guidance:
Act as a subject matter expert, providing mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and data teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, economics, business analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
4-6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare, tech, or education industries.
Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools for data manipulation and analysis.
Strong experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Proven ability to handle and analyze large datasets, with excellent attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the healthcare or medical education industry.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
Knowledge of A/B testing, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
