Overview:

As our AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will work with a team of DevOps engineers focusing on the day-to-day tasks of managing and maintaining On Premise/AWS environments and will be hands-on involved with designing, deploying, documenting, and supporting On Premise/AWS infrastructure. You will also research and develop build and deployment automation tools and must be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:Implement infrastructure as code with Ansible, CloudformationDesign, create, and document architecture diagrams and policiesImprove IaC development and test automation processes through CI/CD pipeline (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cloudformation, Nexus, etc.)Provide occasional basic maintenance of Linux and Windows OS serversDevelop and configure custom tools for more productive operations (build, deployment, performance, monitoring, and stability tools)Drive continuous improvements in deployment, management, and monitoring of infrastructure and application’s web servicesManage and maintain multiple environments, ensuring that these environments are properly setup, configured, available, and HIPAA compliantDevelop strategy and migrate legacy on-prem workloads to AWSSolve live performance and stability issues and prevent their recurrenceWork with various teams including: developers, QA, technical support, project managers, database administrators

You should reach out if:You have 6+ years of software engineering / DevOps experienceYou have 4+ years of experience working in AWSYou have strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools and strategiesYou have experience writing code to automate the management of IT/infrastructure servicesYou are proficient in a programming language: Python, Groovy, Java, JavascriptYou are proficient in using cloud and other virtualization technologies: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, or similarYou have experience with source code management: Git, Nexus and ArtifactoryYou have experience with basic Linux and Windows server maintenanceYou have knowledge of source code branching strategies and continuous integrationYou have knowledge of configuration and orchestration technologies: Ansible, CloudformationYou have knowledge of tools for building CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Packer etc.You have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teamsYou have hands-on working experience with implementing configuration, build, deployment and release management best practicesYou have experience creating documentation for application configuration and proceduresYou have a basic understanding of Network routing and segmentation
