The Keynote Design team within Marcom crafts the visuals for every launch event to deliver the world’s best presentations. We work closely with multiple groups across Apple and within Marcom to create engaging stories through narrative-driven visuals, introducing products and services to a global audience. We make the result beautiful, and the effort invisible.
Description
In the role of Keynote Designer, the candidate must possess strong design and animation skills, as well as the ability to tell compelling stories. Partnering with designers, senior creatives, product marketing, cross-functional producers, 3D artists, engineers, and Apple’s executive leadership team to develop creative from briefing to delivery are some of the exciting responsibilities of this role. Key responsibilities will include: Art directing keynote design through strong animation and storytelling skills Exploration of concepts, development and execution of slide designs (including typography, transitions, and complex 2D animations), and post-production exporting. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders where you contribute story-driven, forward-thinking ideas that adhere to brand guidelines and templates. Create storyboards and sketches for proof of concepts as well as defining the motion of slide transitions and animations. Creating graphics and charts utilizing keynote (and additional programs). Deliver clear and concise feedback to improve the quality of deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years experience in a creative and design field with a focus on presentations.
Ability to showcase a portfolio that demonstrates strong concepts and execution with presentation and motion examples included.
6+years of Keynote, Illustrator, Photoshop, typography and layout.
Experience with After Effects.

BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or other related discipline.
Exceptional creativity in concept development and problem solving with an attention to detail.
Multi-tasking capability, i.e. owning a keynote deck while simultaneously guiding other designers.
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a broader team, building partnerships with others to meet shared objectives.
Develop creative solutions and designs under tight deadlines, creating new and innovative ways for the organization to be successful.
Strong understanding of post-production processes i.e. file types, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a dedication to high standards of quality. A reliable and flexible approach in terms of work schedule and tight deadlines.
Cinema 4D proficiency.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
