Semiconductor Electrical Assembler/Engineer

Job Description:
Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
Responsibilities:
Effectively read and follow work instructions for proper product assembly.
Create Problem Correction Reports (PCRs) or redline procedures and inspection instructions; work closely with engineers to resolve issues related to new product introduction such as manufacturability and form, fit, and function for future builds.
Troubleshoot moderate to highly complex electrical issues within an assembly manufacturing environment.
Able to work up to 8-hour shifts in a clean room environment wearing PPE (bunny suit, safety glasses, masks, shields, gloves, safety footwear).
Consistently demonstrate ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities (ex., rework, overtime)
Willing and able to install components from a working height between 12”-71” and reach into machines to perform tasks.
Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience.
Skills:
Read and understand electrical schematics for AC and DC circuits.
Use of a DMM.
Repair and fabricate cables. (cut wire, solder, shrink tube, crimp etc.)
Semiconductor capital equipment experience (Nice to have).
Ability to assemble components into an e-chassis from schematic and kit of parts (Nice to have).
Ability to develop work instructions (Nice to have).
Education:
Preferably Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or AA in Electrical Engineering with equivalent experience.
