Litehouse is hiring a Business Data Modeler I to join our team! This position is 100% remote. Candidates in Sandpoint, ID area will work a hybrid schedule. Qualified candidate must reside in US.
As a Business Data Modeler I at Litehouse, you will play a crucial role in supporting business data modeling initiatives across the organization. Under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to maintain and develop data models that provide valuable insights and drive decision-making. This position is occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
What you will doSupports and contributes to business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives.Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making.Use modeling tools, primarily Quantrix, and offer support to all Quantrix users across Litehouse. This includes Quantrix Qloud development, training, and promoting best practices.Project Collaboration: Participate in project scoping and intake activities in coordination with other IT Leadership Team members to ensure successful project execution.Business Insights: Develop data models that facilitate meaningful business insights, working closely with business stakeholders to identify valuable stories from datasets.Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders Leadership Development: Demonstrate leadership skills by taking ownership of deliverables, making recommendations, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.Vision and Strategy: Contribute to shaping the vision and strategy of the Business Data Modeling group, aligning it with the broader IT and Litehouse goals.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a data-centric major (e.g., Business, Data Science, Science, etc.). An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.0-4 years of experience in building data models using modern tools.Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, as well as data modeling tool Quantrix.Experience working with SQL language and databases such as MSSQL and Oracle.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong understanding of databases, SQL, Quantrix, and Excel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively and efficiently.Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, enabling effective collaboration with contacts both inside the company.
