This person will play a role in delivering quality changes in support of our Plan Admin System and demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. This person will provide middle-tier and front-end development support, along with working on back-end databases.The Expertise You HaveBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.3+ years of hands-on experience in one or more modern Object-Oriented Programming Languages such as Java or Python.Application development using Java EE, Spring, Angular.Understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON.Proficient knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle.Understanding of Cloud Computing and DevOps concepts including CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.Experience with messaging architecture and event-driven frameworks including message brokers such as MQ, Kafka.The Skills You BringYour experience in executing projects in an Agile environment.Your ability to collaborate with other technical and business experts in the team.Your ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns.Your passion to follow modern test-driven and automation-driven software development methodologies.The Value You DeliverKeeping the focus of the work in terms of Customer obsession.Partner with technical leads to make clear, simple, and technically sound design decisions.Ability to build data models supporting complex transformation.Embrace continuous improvement regarding application quality and stability.Strong sense of ownership for the quality of solution delivery.Being candid and honest in all discussions to ensure the best outcomes.Job Type:
