AI Engineer (ML / Python / C#)

A mid-sized software company is looking for an AI Engineer. They created and sell a network product called ITPie, a software tool that provides organizations with detailed insights and control over their IT networks, manages network-attached devices, visualizes network relationships, and generates actionable reports. Their product is used both in and outside the federal government, with one of the largest clients being the Department of Defense (specifically the US Army), and it is currently used on most domestic US Army bases.The position is structured as a 6-month contract to hire role. The role is fully remote and will accept junior and mid-level engineers (between 2-5 years of experience).Required Skills & ExperienceProficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C#Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworksExperience in AI/ML libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorchAn understanding of large language modelsFamiliarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and offeringsUnited States citizenshipResponsibilities

Design and develop AI/ML models, algorithms, and applications to solve specific problemsEnhance LLM with retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and external databasesCollaborate with existing team members to preprocess and analyze large datasetsWork with subject matter experts to build out training/testing datasetsImplement machine learning and deep learning algorithms and frameworksStay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologiesDocument code, algorithms, and processes for future referencesIntegrate AI/ML models into production systemsThis is a W-2 contract, so all benefits will be through Motion Recruitment:Medical, dental, and vision coverageWeekly PayOvertime Pay
