Calling all college students who love tech and want to dive into the world of IT networking! Join our awesome team as an IT Networking Intern and get some real-world experience under your belt. You’ll be building and configuring network settings on different devices and keeping track of our network inventory to make sure everything runs smoothly and securely.
This position is a paid internship for a college student currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Networking, or another related field.
This position will be in-person at our Corporate location in Green Bay, WI and will start this fall.Responsibilities
Build and configure network configuration on devices.Track and maintain network inventory.Diagnose and resolve system problems.Assist in responding to incident and service requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically.Assist in installation and maintenance of hardware and gain experience in device upgrades.Gain experience with Automation (Ansible/Python), Catalyst Center (DNAC), Configuration Template build.Track and route incidents and document resolutions.Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.Work closely with others to complete a task.Redirect problems to appropriate resource.Learn to become a liaison between IT professionals and end users.Qualifications
Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software and hardware equipment (i.e. Microsoft Windows operating systems, Android/iOS, desktop PC, laptop, and Cisco network/VoIP equipment).Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Must be self-driven and able to accomplish entry-level troubleshooting tasks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Well organized with good time management skills.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment at times.In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, LTD, life insurance, company matching 401(k) and pension.
