This inclusive employer is a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a globally distributed Development Department following an Agile Software Development and Release Methodology. This position works with many technologies such as Cloud, Linux Administration, Database, Application servers and Java configuration management, Microservice infrastructure and Mobile technology. The ideal candidate will be an energetic learner and enjoy sharing knowledge within the team via training sessions or documentation creation.The RoleDesign, develop, maintain, and support high-quality in-house software build systems for Enterprise class software.Experience in Linux which includes security, storage, GNU and Unix commands, Linux filesystems, shell & shell scripting.Introducing Automated solutions preferably using Ansible playbooks to automate system provisioning and application deployment.Working with containerization (e.g., Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, AKS, OKE).Working with native cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, Oracle Cloud).Administering code repositories such as GIT.Design and implement automated pipeline, build and deployment tools such as Bamboo, Github Actions, Maven, Azure Pipelines, Gradle and Jenkins.Software release processes including deployments of mobile, web portal, backend database and microservice.Working with web servers such as Apache or IIS.Working knowledge of Tomcat Server or IBM WebSphere.Strong technical knowledge in JBoss or Web Logic Application server implementation, support, workload management and performance tuning including Web Server Configuration and JBoss/Web Logic App Server.Working with monitoring tools like Check MK, Kibana, Elastic search or New Relic.Define monitoring and alerting best practices based on Site Reliability Engineering.Analysing application and error logs to troubleshoot java application issues from server side.Tracking deployment and implementation pipelines through Argo, Rancher.Manage WAF with IG/AM configuration to maintain Microservice environments.Manage security certificates/keystore and to track and updating certificates based on the established process.Availability via email, telephone, or any device that may be assigned to be part of a pager duty rotation which might extend over weekend.QualificationsThe Requirements6-7 years’ experience in DevOps concepts.Knowledge in Consumer Driven Health Care domain is a big plus.Experience in ITSM and Waterfall/Agile processes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively across multiple business units, external clients and technology partners and fellow team members.BE, BTech or MCA with minimum 4-5 years of experience in SRE Concepts.Hands-on experience working with containerization (e.g., Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, AKS, OKE).Experience working with native cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, Oracle Cloud).Working along with Dev Team to create a self-contained application.EOE, including disability/vetsThis position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until a sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.Compensation And BenefitsBase salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $105,000-$125,000 USD.
