About the RoleThe Ramp Web Engineering team is 5 people strong and is currently searching for its 6th engineer. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in building and optimizing marketing sites, is a great cross-functional communicator, and possesses a knack for getting the visuals right.
What You’ll Do:Lead technical decision-making and implementation of multiple complex projects that establish our website, Ramp.com, as the gold standard for lead generation and product marketing.Build design systems and foster a culture of upholding industry-leading UX.Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and team.Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns.
What You Need:Minimum of 5 years of frontend engineering experience.Strong proficiency in Next.js and familiarity with Vercel’s server-side rendering capabilities.Professional experience building enterprise-grade marketing sites from the ground up.Strong debugging and performance optimization experience.Strong knowledge of A/B testing concepts.Stellar communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Nice to Haves:Experience with a content management system (CMS), particularly Sanity studio.Experience with Tailwind CSS.Experience with dynamic web personalization.Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
Compensation:The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $233,750-$275,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
