Department OverviewThe Unified Communications team has a mission to become the leader in creating a highly scalable software platform and communication applications for first responders and industrial workgroups. Our customers rely on these solutions to run their critical business operations in the public safety, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors.
Job DescriptionYou'll be working on the development and integration of Broadband Push to Talk technology on various devices operating systems including iOS, Android and Feature Phone with Push to Talk features.
Scripting: Javascript and shell
Framework: EXTJS
Load Balancing F5 based on IPv4, IPv6 and TCP/UDP. HTTP/HTTPS
Proficient in SQL. CouchDB, MangoDB, Timesten DB, SOAP, REST
Operating system: Windows and Linux
Programming: Java, HTML, CSS
Design and development of Android, iOS and Feature phone applications for Push to Talk.
Knowledge of Android Studio and Xcode for software development and debugging.
Knowledge of tools like Wireshark, Putty, WinSCP, QXDM, adb to analyze logs and isolate Network/Protocol/Server/Handset application issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of Android or IOS application development experience.
Experience in VOIP applications and Telecom networks.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
